SHFE 1708 Zinc Closes with Gains (2017-6-16)

SHANGHAI, Jun. 16 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 21,085/mt today and reached RMB 21,300/mt. With longs leaving the market after profit-taking,  SHFE zinc fell and stopped falling around RMB 21,220/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1708 zinc dropped further and closed at RMB 21,140/mt, up RMB 85/mt or 0.4%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc decreased 102,000 to 518,000 lots, and positions increased 1,408 to 285,000. SHFE 1708 zinc should hover at current levels in the evening.
