SHFE 1708 Zinc Closes Higher (2017-6-9)

SHANGHAI, Jun. 9 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 20,980/mt today and then hovered around RMB 21,050/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1708 zinc edged up and hovered around RMB 21,110/mt and closed at RMB 21,075/mt, up RMB 370/mt or 1.79%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1707 zinc decreased 47,112 to 375,000 lots, and positions increased 4,954 to 256,000. The price spread between SHFE 1706 zinc and SHFE 1708 zinc was RMB 1,845/mt.
