SHANGHAI, Sept. 22 (SMM) –Chinalco Luoyang Copper already formed bulk supply of copper semis used in new energy vehicles and this makes the company leading copper supplier to new energy vehicle sectors in China, according towww.cnmn.com.cn.
Based on current situation, new energy vehicle sales in China should be about 1.4 million units till 2020, which will need at least 56,000 tonnes of copper, up 220%-530% from copper used in traditional vehicles.
