SHFE Nickel Trades up (May 27, 2016)

SHANGHAI, May 27 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 67,280/mt overnight and once grew to RMB 67,580/mt. The contract later sank to RMB 66,380/mt before closing at RMB 66,770/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel opened at RMB 66,750/mt on Friday and then ranged RMB 66,500-66,750/mt. In the afternoon business, SHFE nickel moved higher to RMB 67,800/mt before ending at RMB 67,390/mt. Trading volumes were up 156,000 to 825,000 lots and positions were down 6,892 to 662,000.
