Indonesia Revises Copper ore Pricing Formula to US$/WMT Effective April 2026

The Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) has officially confirmed that a revised base price (HPM) calculation formula for copper ore will take effect on April 15, 2026. The key change is that the HPM pricing unit for both copper ore and copper concentrate will be adjusted from the previous US dollars per dry metric ton (DMT) to US dollars per wet metric ton (WMT). The original calculation formula and all other parameters (including the CF of 12% for copper ore and the deduction rules for copper concentrate) remain unchanged.
