Volkswagen berencana mengakhiri proyek kerja sama pengemudian otonom dengan Bosch.

Menurut laporan media, Grup Volkswagen berencana mengakhiri kemitraannya dengan pemasok komponen otomotif Bosch di bidang mengemudi otonom. Proyek kolaborasi ini dimulai pada 2022, dipimpin oleh anak perusahaan perangkat lunak Volkswagen, Cariad, yang bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat lunak bantuan pengemudi dan mengemudi otonom untuk semua merek Volkswagen. Evaluasi internal menunjukkan bahwa setelah investasi kumulatif sebesar €1,5 miliar (setara sekitar $1,7 miliar), teknologi yang dikembangkan belum kompetitif di pasar dan gagal memenuhi harapan yang ditetapkan. Menanggapi hal tersebut, Cariad dan Bosch mengeluarkan pernyataan bersama yang menyatakan tidak akan mengomentari rumor pasar, tetapi mengonfirmasi bahwa kedua pihak secara berkala meninjau kemitraan riset dan pengembangan serta terus menilai keselarasannya dengan tujuan teknologi strategis dan tren pasar terkini. Dikabarkan Volkswagen saat ini tengah mencari mitra alternatif baru, berencana membeli perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak untuk sistem mengemudi otonom dari pemasok baru, dan diharapkan merampungkan penandatanganan kontrak baru pada September mendatang.

On June 28, Guangzhou Rongjie Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("Rongjie Energy") officially signed a 3 GWh cooperation agreement with India‑based energy storage integrator Lineage Power Systems Pvt Ltd ("Lineage Power"). Under the agreement, Rongjie Energy will supply a total of 3 GWh of 314Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and related accessories to Lineage Power for its utility‑scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage projects, covering both the Indian and international markets. The agreement also covers pricing, quality specifications, warranty terms, and delivery schedules, and includes provisions for joint quality assurance, technical collaboration on system integration, and supply chain transparency, providing long‑term supply chain security for Lineage Power's energy storage projects. Rongjie Energy's manufacturing base in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area offers significant logistical advantages, enabling efficient delivery to India and other overseas markets.

Dingxi, Gansu Launches $8.8M Lithium Battery Recycling Project with 10,000 Ton Capacity
Recently, the relevant authority released the first public announcement on EIA for the new energy waste power lithium battery recycling and dismantling project in Dingxi, Gansu. The project involves a total investment of RMB 8.8 million, located in the Circular Economy Industrial Park, Anding District, Dingxi City, Gansu Province. It consists of one waste LIB recycling and dismantling production line, equipped with single-shaft shredder, nitrogen generator, carbonization furnace, cooling furnace, linear screening machine and other key equipment. Upon completion, it will achieve an annual dismantling capacity of 10,000 tons of waste LIBs, yielding 800 tons of copper, 600 tons of aluminum, 100 tons of iron, and 7,100 tons of black mass per year.

The project involves a total investment of RMB 147.51 million, located in Matang Industrial Park, Wenshan High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan. It consists of one waste battery recycling workshop, one dismantling workshop, one warehouse, and supporting environmental facilities including solid waste collection and temporary storage. The business scope covers scrapped vehicle dismantling and recycling, recycled resource processing, and power LIB cascade utilization.
