[Copper Foil Customs Data] According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in April 2026, China's copper foil imports via Ordinary Trade totaled 5,321.36 mt; processing trade with supplied materials, 304.2 mt; processing trade with imported materials, 889.93 mt; and other trade modes, 1,173.52 mt. In April, China's copper foil exports via Ordinary Trade totaled 1,289.38 mt; processing trade with supplied materials, 1,777.06 mt; processing trade with imported materials, 3,783.57 mt; and other trade modes, 509.83 mt.

[Copper Foil Customs Data] According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's copper foil import value in April 2026 was $165.2827 million, up 39.93% YoY and down 8.48% MoM; China's cumulative copper foil import value from January to April 2026 was $613.3360 million, up 35.89% YoY. China's copper foil export value in April 2026 was $118.5483 million, up 147.67% YoY and up 2.09% MoM; China's cumulative copper foil export value from January to April 2026 was $398.9716 million, up 121.74% YoY. China's copper foil import-export trade deficit in April was approximately $46.73 million, down approximately $17.76 million MoM from $64.49 million in March 2026.

[SMM News Flash] Japan exported 34,200 mt of copper scrap to China in April, accounting for 16.15%, up 4.65% YoY but down 17.60% MoM. As the second largest supplier, it still maintained positive YoY growth and remained an important supplementary source of copper scrap for China.
