[SMM Lithium Battery Anode Raw Material Market Weekly Review: Graphitisation Tolling Service Prices Remained Stable and Stagnant, Tug-of-War Between Sellers and Buyers Became Prominent] May 7: This week, graphitisation tolling service processing prices in China did not show significant fluctuations, and the tug-of-war between sellers and buyers became prominent.

SMM May 7 update:

This week, graphitisation tolling services processing quotes in China showed no significant fluctuations, with the tug-of-war between sellers and buyers becoming prominent. Cost side, prices continued to fluctuate at highs, and graphitisation tolling service providers faced dual pressure from raw material procurement costs and production processing costs. The rigid cost support was significant, providing strong support for graphitisation tolling services processing prices and constraining downside room. Supply-demand side, against the backdrop of rising costs across the entire industry chain, downstream enterprises mostly produced based on sales and purchased as needed. Buyers and sellers continued their tug-of-war, and prices exhibited a stalemate pattern. Looking ahead, under the disturbance of geopolitical tensions, the short-term downside room for graphitisation upstream raw materials remained limited, and the cost support logic persisted. It is expected that graphitisation tolling services processing prices will maintain strong rigid support going forward, making it difficult for prices to pull back significantly.
