[SMM Nickel News] Indonesia Sulfur Import Data for February 2026

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in February 2026, Indonesia's sulfur imports totaled 213,700 mt, down 43% MoM and 62% YoY. Cumulative imports in 2026 reached 591,800 mt, down 35% YoY.

By producing and selling countries, in February 2026, the top five countries or regions from which Indonesia imported were Qatar, UAE, Taiwan (China), Canada, and Malaysia.

March Imports and Exports of Hydrometallurgy Intermediate Products

According to the latest data from SMM Customs, imports of SMM hydrometallurgy intermediate products in March 2026 reached 171,240 mt in physical terms, up 37% MoM and up 1.4% YoY. By country, the main incremental volumes this month came from hydrometallurgy intermediate products imported from Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and New Caledonia.
