Total Retail Sales of Consumer Goods Up 1.7% in March 2026

In March, total retail sales of consumer goods reached 4,161.6 billion yuan, up 1.7% YoY. Of this, retail sales of consumer goods excluding automobiles totaled 3,787.5 billion yuan, up 3.2%. From January to March, total retail sales of consumer goods reached 12,769.5 billion yuan, up 2.4% YoY. Of this, retail sales of consumer goods excluding automobiles totaled 11,772.7 billion yuan, up 3.6%.
