[Rising Oil Prices Drive EV Demand as US Charging Network Accelerates to Catch Up] As Middle East conflicts and surging oil prices reignited interest in EVs, the US stepped up efforts to build out its EV charging network. According to Bloomberg's analysis of federal data, approximately 605 new public high-speed EV charging stations were added across the US in Q1 this year, up 34% YoY. The US now has nearly 13,500 fast EV charging locations, a 25% increase from a year ago.
