Osaka Titanium Expands Aerospace-Grade Capacity, Pursues Carbon Neutrality

[SMM Titanium Express] Japan's OSAKA Titanium technologies disclosed its ongoing expansion of global aerospace-grade titanium sponge capacity, currently at 40,000 tons/year with plans to add 10,000 tons. As one of only four certified suppliers for aircraft engine-grade titanium, the company has built its global leadership over 70 years through an exclusive partnership with Sumitomo Corporation. The partners recently signed a comprehensive Green Transformation agreement, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050 to support future aviation lightweighting and environmental needs.
