Lindian Resources has purchased the remaining 25% equity stake, acquiring 100% ownership of the Lelouma bauxite mine in Guinea.
Lindian Resources has finalised a binding Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire the remaining 25% equity stake in Bauxite Holding from minority shareholders, thereby securing full ownership of the Lelouma bauxite project in Guinea and eliminating the risks associated with ownership dilution and financial aspects of the initial acquisition.
The Lelouma project is located near key infrastructure, including a railway line and the Kamsar port. It boasts 900 million tonnes of mineral resources compliant with the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) Code, with an alumina content of 45% and a silica content of 2.1%.
