SMM Lithium Battery Separator Prices Steady, Capacity Utilization Recovered

【SMM Lithium Battery Separator Price Analysis This Week】This week, lithium battery separator material prices remained stable. The mainstream quotations for wet separators (5um/7um/9um) were 1.59 yuan, 0.82 yuan, and 0.75 yuan, respectively. The mainstream quotations for dry separators (12um/16um) were 0.46 yuan and 0.43 yuan. Supply side, with the completion of the industry chain's resumption of work and production in March, the industry's capacity utilization rate has recovered, and a slight increase in the production schedule is expected in April. Demand side, downstream power and ESS demands continue to grow, which will promote battery cell manufacturers' procurement of separators. Price-wise, as the separator prices have already approached the cost line, it is expected that the separator prices will remain stable in the near term.
