Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 24, automotive chip developer Black Sesame Technologies and automotive memory tech company Micron Technology jointly announced a collaboration to introduce a new advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) solution.

The solution integrates Black Sesame's A2000 chip family with Micron's LPDDR5 memory to enhance the system's ability to handle complex driving scenarios, meeting the growing demands of intelligent driving applications and algorithms.

Micron provides LPDDR5 memory that boasts high speed, low power consumption, and robust security features. With a data transfer rate of 6,400 Mb/s and 20% lower power consumption compared to LPDDR4X, LPDDR5 operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

The A2000 chip family is Black Sesame's newly launched high-performance chip platform, comprising A2000 Lite, A2000, and A2000 Pro variants tailored for urban smart driving, all-scenario general smart driving, and advanced all-scenario general smart driving, respectively. These chips integrate multiple units, such as CPU, DSP, GPU, NPU, and ISP, enabling highly integrated multi-task processing.

With next-generation ISP technology, the chips deliver superior image quality with 4-frame exposure and 150dB HDR, excelling in tunnel and nighttime scenarios. Native support for Transformer models and scalable computing power make the A2000 chip family versatile, supporting a range of autonomous driving applications from NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) to Robotaxi.
