Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese LiDAR sensor provider LiangDao Intelligence recently introduced its Flash pure solid-state LiDAR, the Gen2 Mini, to the global market, according to a post on the company's WeChat account.

With dimensions smaller than a credit card and weighing just 198 grams, the Gen2 Mini boasts a compact and lightweight design, making it ideal for applications in drones, mobile robots, and smart security systems. Its advanced spatial perception capabilities support the intelligent development of multiple industries.

The Gen2 Mini features an ultra-wide field of view and a maximum detection range of 150 meters, enabling early detection of potential risks or objects in complex scenarios. Its 192-line high-resolution beam array generates clear and precise point cloud models, providing a reliable foundation for analysis and decision-making. This broadens its applications across diverse intelligent sectors.

LiangDao Intelligence emphasizes in-house R&D and strong collaboration with Chinese suppliers to ensure long-term control over its products. The company's intelligent manufacturing center has entered the full production phase in 2024, with its optimized annual production capacity expected to reach 100,000 units.

In smart security field, the Gen2 Mini's 192-line beam array constructs 3D scene information, capturing details ranging from building outlines to small ground-level objects, leaving no blind spots for safety risks.

In the drone sector, the Gen2 Mini's ultra-lightweight and compact design, combined with high performance, makes it an essential tool for obstacle avoidance. Agricultural drones equipped with this LiDAR can navigate fields precisely, detecting and avoiding fine obstacles like wires and fences. They can also sense variations in crop height and adjust flight altitude, enhancing operational quality.

As an integrated provider of 3D intelligent perception solutions, LiangDao Intelligence focuses on the R&D and application of high-precision perception technologies for autonomous driving and smart city scenarios.

In 2022, LiangDao Intelligence introduced an automotive-grade short-range LiDAR which is based on the pure solid-state solution, breaking through the industry's "low cost-effectiveness" bottleneck and advancing both technology and affordability.

LiangDao Intelligence also launched Flash LiDAR solution which can offer hardware designs and development solutions tailored to diverse client and application needs. In addition, the company provides AI perception algorithms compatible with mainstream computing platforms, delivering full-stack LiDAR system integration services.

LiangDao Intelligence's solid-state LiDAR products have been deployed in unmanned logistics, mapping, security, and smart testing fields, serving clients such as Go Further.AI and Baidu. In Europe, its integrated LiDAR solutions have been applied in smart city projects across more than ten cities.
