【Operating Hours of Komatsu Excavators in China Increased YoY in November】

Recently, Komatsu's official website released the data on the operating hours of Komatsu excavators for November 2024. The data showed that in November 2024, the operating hours of Komatsu excavators in China were 105.4 hours, up 4.4% YoY, marking the fourth consecutive month of YoY increase; it remained flat MoM.

From January to November 2024, the cumulative operating hours of Komatsu excavators in China were 972.6 hours, down 0.99% YoY, with the decline narrowing for six consecutive months.

【SMM Steel】Turkey imported 6.59 million tonnes of steel scrap in January-April 2026, up 0.4% year-on-year, with total import value reaching approximately $2.5 billion. The United States overtook the Netherlands as Turkey's largest supplier, with shipments rising 34% to about 1.4 million tonnes. By contrast, imports from the Netherlands fell 26.6% to just over 861,000 tonnes, though the Netherlands and the United Kingdom remained among Turkey's key suppliers.
