Hainan Expressway Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with six key partners.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 28, at the New Energy Vehicle City Development Forum held during the World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) in Haikou, Hainan Expressway Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with six key partners. These include the China EV100, Hainan branches of China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Hainan Data Exchange, and Baidu. The partnership aims to develop a pilot program for "Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration."

According to the agreement, the parties will collaborate on investment, construction, and operation related to vehicle-road-cloud infrastructure, fostering a new cooperative framework that maximizes resource sharing and mutual benefits.

Moving forward, Hainan Expressway will work with its partners to strengthen cooperation in areas such as cloud control platforms, road-cloud network facilities, joint operations, and industry incubation. This collaboration aims to accelerate large-scale demonstrations of intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) and explore new commercial models, ultimately making Hainan the first province-wide open vehicle-road-cloud application demonstration zone in China.

During the forum, policymakers, experts, and industry leaders from various cities worldwide shared valuable experiences in promoting zero-carbon smart transportation and urban infrastructure. The forum served as a platform for knowledge exchange, infusing new energy into Hainan's new energy vehicle industry and its push toward zero-carbon intelligent transportation.
