On August 7, AI large model data service provider KuanDeng Technology announced the completion of a nearly 100-million-yuan Series B2 financing round.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 7, AI large model data service provider KuanDeng Technology announced the completion of a nearly 100-million-yuan Series B2 financing round. This round was jointly led by Guangdong Rongtai Capital and Zhejiang Deqing Government Industrial Fund, and the funds will primarily be used to accelerate KuanDeng's large-scale expansion and product development.

Founded in 2017 by former Baidu Vice President Liu Jun, KuanDeng Technology focuses on HD map platforms to advance autonomous driving and smart transportation. It is one of 19 companies in China approved for Grade A qualifications in navigational electronic maps.

KuanDeng's core technologies include deep learning, image recognition, 3D visions, intelligent robotics, map construction, and big data cloud services. Since its inception, the company has adopted a technology path that supports multi-source data updates and ultra-high-precision image modeling, developing a forward-looking AI-based geographic data production and service platform to achieve low-cost, high-efficiency large-scale data collection and creation.

KuanDeng’s high-precision map solutions offer centimeter-level accuracy, rapid crowd-sourced updates, and automated, large-scale lane-level map modeling. These advantages support lane-level path planning and navigation, safety alerts, and location services integrated with HD maps.

In the autonomous driving sector, KuanDeng Technology has provided mass production data services to numerous well-known car manufacturers and suppliers, securing mass orders from companies like BYD, Geely, NVIDIA, XPENG, and Huawei. In smart transportation, KuanDeng's high-precision road data has been utilized by highway departments across most provinces and cities in China, covering expressways, national and provincial highways, urban roads, and rural roads.
