According to the SMM cost-profit statement for imported ore, profits from imported ore have slightly declined. Last week, the total shipment of SMM global iron ore reached 34.32 million tons, down 2.3% from the previous week. Among them, shipments from Australia and Brazil both decreased. The total arrival of SMM Chinese iron ore reached 24 million tons, down 6.03% from the previous week. Overall, the shipment and arrival of iron ore are still at a high level. However, based on the blast furnace maintenance situation this week, SMM predicts a slight decline in molten iron; iron ore inventory may continue to accumulate. Additionally, due to the off-season for terminal demand, the market's concerns about demand remain, leading to a significant decline in the market. Nevertheless, as an important meeting is approaching, the market still has certain expectations to support ore prices, making it difficult to open the downward space in the short term. It is expected that the profits of imported ore will continue to fluctuate in the near future.
