Zhuhai Hongta Renheng Energy Storage Station Completed, Expected to Save Over 100 Million Yuan in Operating Costs

On April 9th, the Zhuhai Hongta Renheng 12MW/24MWh energy storage station, jointly constructed by Chengtong Leasing, Lishen Battery, and Zhongneng Jian Guangdong Institute, was completed. The station will implement a strategy of charging and discharging twice a day during operation period, effectively reducing operating costs by over 100 million yuan.

The project utilizes lithium iron phosphate batteries and outdoor prefabricated deployment, with a planned daily charging and discharging capacity of up to 35,000 kWh. Based on the data from the trial operation phase, the daily electricity savings (non-peak hours) are approximately 21,000 yuan, and during peak summer hours the daily electricity savings are around 28,000 yuan, with an estimated first-year profit expected to reach 8 million yuan.
