SMM data: Supply side remains stable in January, domestic daily output of electrolytic aluminum remains stable month-on-month with a 4.2% year-on-year growth
According to SMM statistics, the domestic daily output of electrolytic aluminum in January 2024 (31 days) was 3.562 million tons, a 4.2% increase year-on-year. The domestic electrolytic aluminum industry's average daily output in January remained stable at around 114,900 tons month-on-month. The start-up of domestic primary aluminum processing enterprises in January declined slightly, with a decrease in the production of aluminum bars and other products in the northwest and southwest regions, and a 3.7 percentage point decrease in the industry's aluminum-to-water ratio compared to the previous month.
