Sigma Lithium Corp. Announces Increase in Estimated Size of Brazilian EV Battery Metal Deposits
On January 31st, Sigma Lithium Corp., a Canadian lithium mining company, announced the expansion of its estimated size of electric vehicle (EV) battery metal deposits in Brazil, stating that this will further expand its production levels in the future. Sigma stated that the estimated mineral resource of the Grota do Cirilo project in Minas Gerais state, Brazil, has been increased by 27%. The Vancouver-based company stated that the project will now become the world's fourth largest operating industrial-grade lithium complex, with a resource of 1.09 billion tons.
