Aluminum stocks surge, hitting highest level in over two months
According to data from the London Metal Exchange (LME), aluminum stocks saw a significant increase of nearly 60,000 tons on Monday, reaching a total of 504,475 tons, which is the highest level in over two months. This comes after a slight decrease in stocks the previous week, bringing them close to their previous low. Meanwhile, recent data from the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) shows that aluminum stocks have been fluctuating within a range, with a slight increase of 0.12% to 112,002 tons in the week ending on December 15th, placing them at a relatively low level compared to the past month.
