On October 30th, the expert review meeting of the application report of the 2×1 million kilowatt coal-fired power generation project of Xiangtou Energy Yuezhou was held, and the expert group reviewed and passed the report in principle.

It is reported that Yuezhou Power Plant is a key construction project of the "14th Five-Year" energy development plan of Hunan Province. The project will construct two 1 million kilowatt clean and efficient ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units. The total investment of the project is 8.635 billion yuan, covering an area of about 51 hectares, and the plant is located in Buxian Town and Yanglin Street Town, Yueyang County. The project is a national key project. It is planned to start construction and construction in December this year, and the construction period is 28 months. The first unit will be put into operation and power generation in 2026.
