Spot Premiums In Guangdong Zinc Market Climbed

#0 zinc in Guangdong was traded at 21075~21220 yuan/mt today. Mainstream brands were quoted with premiums of 175~185 yuan/mt over SHFE 2312 zinc contract, with premiums of 30 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices.

In the first trading session, Qilin, Huize and Mengzi zinc was quoted with premiums of 20-30 yuan/mt. Spot premiums rose amid low inventories in social warehouses in south China. In the second period, Qilin and Mengzi zinc were offered with premiums of 175~185 yuan/mt. Inventories in social warehouses in South China were low recently. This supported premiums in Guangdong.
