Spot Premiums For Zinc In Tianjin Dropped Further

SHANGHAI, Oct 30 (SMM) - In Tianjin, #0 zinc ingot was mostly traded at 21240~21390 yuan/mt, Zijin zinc 21270~21420 yuan/mt, and Huludao zinc 25420 yuan/mt. In terms of premium/discount, #0 zinc was quoted with discounts of 10 yuan/mt to premiums of 40 yuan/mt over SHFE 2311 contract, Zijin zinc with premiums of 20~70 yuan/mt. Prices in Tianjin were 140 yuan/mt lower than Shanghai prices.

As of noon of October 30, spot premiums of ordinary brand Chihong stood at -10~10 yuan/mt over SHFE 2310 zinc contract, Hongye 20 yuan/mt, Xinzi 0~40 yuan/mt, Kazakhstan zinc -20 yuan/mt (delivery in warehouse), and high-priced brand Zijin 20~70 yuan/mt. Spot trades were poor as high zinc prices dampened downstream purchasing. #1 zinc ingot prices were 21200~21310 yuan/mt today.
