Huadian Xinjiang Tacheng Multi-Complementary Base 1GW Photovoltaic Project has been grid-connected, according to the official microblog of Huadian Group. So far, Huadian Xinjiang region has put into production 3.77 million kilowatts of power projects this year, with a total installed capacity of 22.45 million kilowatts.

It is reported that this is the largest photovoltaic base project in Xinjiang. The project is the second batch of large-scale wind and photovoltaic base projects in desert, Gobi and desertification areas. The project is located in Tacheng region of Xinjiang and Bukesai Mongolian Autonomous County, with a total installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts, divided into two phases, each with 500,000 kilowatts.

After the project is put into production, it can add 1.8 billion kilowatt-hours of "green electricity" per year, save 570,000 tons of standard coal, reduce 1.46 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and play an important role in promoting energy and power clean and low-carbon transformation and helping Xinjiang's economic and social development with high quality.
