Global aluminum industry emits 1.1 billion tons of carbon dioxide every year, accounting for about 2% of global anthropogenic emissions. As a major carbon emitter in the non-ferrous metal industry, it is an unavoidable development path to achieve carbon peak, carbon neutrality and promote green transformation.
