Treatment Charges of Domestic Zinc Concentrate to Rise Further

Last week, the TCs were mainly stable. According to customs data, zinc concentrate imports in June reached 390,600 mt, an increase of 46,600 mt compared to the previous month, surpassing expectations. Judging from the data on zinc ore arriving at ports in July, it is expected that the import volume of zinc concentrate will remain high in July.

At the same time, domestic mines are expected to maintain a relatively high production level in July and August, and some reduction in output due to smelter maintenance. Overall supply is expected to be relatively ample, which may lead to further increases in domestic zinc concentrate TCs.
