China Rebar Stocks down 4.4% on the Week

SHANGHAI, Apr 27 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 9.49 million mt as of April 27, down 435,100 mt or 4.4% from a week ago and also down 19.5% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 6.62 million mt, down 395,800 mt or 5.64% on the week and a drop of 20.2% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 2.87 million mt, down 39,300 mt or 1.3% on the week and 17.9% on the year.
