NDRC to Conduct a Survey on the Cost of Carbon Reduction in the Steel Industry

On April 10, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), to gain a deeper understanding of the cost of carbon emission and reduction in the Chinese steel industry under the “dual-carbon” policy, to listen to opinions and suggestions on related issues such as cost challenges, and to provide a reference for the research on green and low-carbon development of the iron and steel industry, the Price and Cost Investigation Center of the NDRC conducted research at Shigang Company of Hegang Group on April 4, 2023.
