SHANGHAI, Apr 10 (SMM) - Although the SHFE lead prices rebounded in the second half of last week, the overall prices were still low. At the same time, the supply of lead-acid battery scrap gradually tightened amid the off season of replacement, and thus the purchase prices offered by secondary refined lead smelters rebounded with the rising SHFE lead prices in the second half of last week. According to SMM calculations, the profits of secondary refined lead producers maintained at around 250 yuan/mt, but some smelters also reported losses under the high prices of refined lead.

Although the SHFE lead prices rebounded in the second half of last week, the overall prices were still low.
