SHANGHAI, Mar 28 (SMM) - Mamota, a gold prospecting company in central South Australia, has discovered a rare earth deposit. In Mukanipe, the company discovered through drilling that there are shallowly buried and high-grade rare earth deposits in the clay. The drilling went as deep as16 meters and discovered rare earth oxides with a grade of 0.1258%, including 4 meters of mineralisation at a grade of 0.1528%.  Rare earth metals for magnets, including neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium, account for 23-37% of the reserves. According to the company, this type of ores generated from mineralisation is very similar to China's ion-type rare earths, and the Mukanipe deposit has greater potential. In addition to Petrasham's Kermit rare earth mine, Indiana Resources discovered the Radila Bellins rare earth mine, and Naril Metals discovered the Seduna rare earth mine. In the south, Shintech Minerals and Chequers Materials have discovered Kimba and Calalo Bluff rare earth deposits, respectively.
