Peru Copper Transportation and Mining to Resume as Protests Abate

Protests in Peru are showing signs of easing. The government of Peru, the second-largest producer of copper and zinc, expects stranded copper and zinc shipments to start returning to normal as roadblocks are largely cleared.

According to Bloomberg, the Peruvian government expects shipments of these goods to begin to normalise within days as the country's worst street protests in decades ease.
