A White House official confirmed to the media at an energy conference on Monday that after months of stalemate, the United States has finally begun to release solar panels imported from China.
The news was enough to bring a sigh of relief to major Chinese suppliers such as Trina Solar and JinkoSolar. After a long delay, their products were finally able to enter the US market smoothly.
This news also means that a large number of Chinese solar panels that were previously stuck at the US customs border have been able to clear customs in the US, which is expected to help alleviate the plight of solar project development in the US.
