Shanxi Province Launched Inspections on Mine Production Safety

On February 27, the Shanxi Provincial Safety Committee decided to immediately carry out mine production safety inspections across the province in order to deeply learn the lessons of the open-pit coal mine collapse accident of Xinjing Coal Industry Co., Ltd. in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia.

This action will last until the end of May.

The municipal government will inspect all the mines directly supervised by it, and other mines will be inspected at a rate of no less than 10%. 100% of the mines directly supervised by the county-level government will be inspected.

Strict inspections will be implemented on overcapacity, overintensity, and overstaffing.
