SHANGHAI, Feb 10 (SMM) - Refined cobalt prices have been on the decline recently, but the profit of refined cobalt performed best of various cobalt products.
Some smelters commenced refined cobalt production, growing market supply.
Alloy plants have been cautious and refrained from purchases. This is attributable to the recent declines of the lower end price of refined cobalt. The upper end, however, were firm, backed by the ex-works prices of leading producers.
