Fed Chairman Jerome Powell was interviewed by David Rubenstein, co-founder of Carlyle Group on Tuesday. In his first speech since the FOMC meeting last week, Powell said the Fed may need to raise interest rates higher than previously expected if US labour market continues to be stronger than officials expected and inflation rises further.
