Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), said that the growth of new energy vehicle sales has reached a bottleneck. After the removal of NEV subsidies at the end of 2022, sales growth will be a tough issue in 2023. Recent price cuts by Tesla and other EV makers triggered wait-and-see sentiment among consumers.
