Tianyuan heavy Industry magnesium Alloy production Project was tested successfully for the first time.

On March 25, the first trial run of Tianyuan heavy Industry magnesium alloy casting-rolling line project was successful, marking the full start of the trial production of the project.

In order to ensure the success of the test run, all the staff of Tianyuan heavy Industry work hard day and night, strictly control the details and do a good job. According to the commissioning procedure and scheme, as the first magnesium alloy ingot is put into the casting-rolling line melting furnace, the magnesium alloy ingot will be melted by heating up the gas supply at the same time. At 16:59 on March 25th, the liquid magnesium pump introduced liquid magnesium into the front box. With the slow rotation of the roll, the first roll of magnesium alloy plate was officially put off the line successfully, and the first commissioning of the project was a complete success.

Tianyuan heavy Industry magnesium alloy coil project uses magnesium alloy ingots as raw materials and applies a new near-final shape and short process "twin-roll casting" process to produce magnesium alloy coil with a width of 1.2 meters, a thickness of 0.7 mm ~ 2 mm and a single coil weight of 1.5 ~ 5 tons. the products are wide, thin and light, and are widely used in aerospace, military industry, high-speed rail, computers, automobiles, medical devices and other high-end fields. Compared with the traditional "hot rolling method", this process simplifies the production process, shortens the production process, improves production efficiency, reduces energy consumption by more than 60%, and fills the gap in the domestic market of large-weight and wide-width magnesium alloy rolling. it is of great significance to promote the industrialization and scale of large-coil heavy and wide magnesium alloy casting technology in our country.
