Zheng Yonggang, chairman of Sequoia Holdings, said that the Meishan project is the first lithium anode material integration base for Shanshan in the southwest, and it has reached the industry leading level in terms of investment intensity, production capacity and technology.

On January 4, the opening ceremony of the integrated base of 200000 tons of lithium battery anode materials was held in Meishan. Hu Yuankun, secretary of the Meishan Municipal CPC Committee, reported the Meishan centralized construction project to the main venue of the province, and announced the start of the project. Huang Huang, deputy secretary of the Meishan Municipal CPC Committee and mayor, presided over the ceremony. Huang Xiuhang, vice mayor of Meishan City and secretary of the Pengshan District CPC Committee, and Zheng Yonggang, chairman of the board of directors of Shanshan Holdings, delivered speeches.

Hu Yuankun said that 2022 is the "breakthrough year for manufacturing strong cities" determined by the Meishan Municipal CPC Committee. Meishan City will focus on green and low-carbon industries such as lithium materials, introduce a series of supporting policies and create a first-class business environment. Focus on the introduction of a number of leading enterprises with strong supporting role and strong driving effect to speed up the development of agglomeration. On the premise of doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, Ansheng production and environmental protection, we will promote the completion and commissioning of the project as soon as possible.

Huang Xiuhang said that Shanshan's annual output of 200000 tons of lithium battery anode materials integrated base project is Pengshan's first 10 billion yuan industrial project, but also the leading project of Pengshan lithium power industry. In the five months from the signing of the contract to the start of construction, the project has created the "Sichuan speed" and "the only one in the province" in the aspects of land approval, energy evaluation and approval. Peng Shan is speeding up the start of the lithium industry.

Zheng Yonggang said that as the country comprehensively promotes the "carbon peak, carbon neutralization" strategy, the new energy industry has become an important force in achieving the national dual-carbon goal and promoting energy transformation. In order to actively cope with the rapid development of the new energy lithium-ion battery industry, relying on years of technology accumulation and scale advantages, Shanshan laid out an integrated base with an annual output of 200000 tons of lithium anode materials in advance to seize the opportunity of "double carbon" and strive to enhance its global competitiveness. Zheng Yonggang pointed out that the Meishan project is the first lithium anode material integration base for Shanshan in the southwest, which has reached the industry leading level in terms of investment intensity, production capacity and technology. Since its preparation, the project has received great attention and strong support from Meishan City and Pengshan District. Cunninghamia lanceolata will promote project construction with high level, high efficiency and high intensity, strive for early completion, early production and early achievement of efficiency, help Meishan to build a global new energy industry highland, and make greater contributions to the high-quality economic development of Meishan.

Huang Jiandong, chairman of the Chinese people's political Consultative Conference of Meishan City, Liu Xianwei, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and secretary of the Meishan Party work Committee of Tianfu New District, Gao Ming, vice president of Shanshan Holdings, and Li Fengfeng, chairman of Shanshan Science and Technology, attended the ceremony.
