The National Development and Reform Commission went to the central enterprises to investigate and promote the increase of coal production and supply.

In order to implement a series of arrangements and arrangements made by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and do a good job in the safe and stable supply of electricity this winter and next spring, recently, the responsible comrades of the National Development and Reform Commission Department of Reform and the relevant staff of the Department of Economic Reform and Operation Bureau participated in the investigation and study of the National Energy Group, Huaneng Group, Datang Group, and China Coal Group to dock with the work of increasing coal production and supply in central enterprises.

The research group conveyed the spirit of the important instructions of the leaders of the State Council on effectively increasing coal production capacity on the premise of meeting the requirements of safety and environmental protection, and studied with the responsible comrades of enterprises one by one the blockage points and solving measures in coal mines with the potential to increase production in the near future.

The research group stressed that since the end of September, the country's average daily coal output has increased by more than 1.2 million tons compared with September, and the daily output has continuously reached a new high this year, which has laid a solid foundation for keeping warm supply. Central enterprises should further enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, play an exemplary and leading role in keeping warm supply this winter and next spring, and promote coal mines that have the potential to increase production to release their production capacity as soon as possible on the premise of ensuring safe production and doing a good job in ecological protection. Approved and completed open-pit coal mines should speed up production and reach production. For some of the "one foot" projects, we should adopt the approach of "one mine, one strategy" to coordinate and solve problems one by one, promote coal mine projects to put into production and increase production as soon as possible, and make greater contributions to further improving the capacity of coal production and supply.
