The planned construction of a magnesium plant in Ohio will create 200 full-time jobs

U. S. officials have announced plans to build a magnesium plant in eastern Ohio, which they say will create 200 full-time and 500 part-time jobs.

Western Magnesium Corp. Representatives and elected officials gathered at the Cadiz industrial park in Harrison County last week to unveil the site of the proposed 300000-square-foot factory on 122 acres.

Sam Ataya, the company's chief executive and chief executive, vowed to create an eco-friendly environment in which the process for producing magnesium would be "the cleanest in the world".

Magnesium is a lightweight but durable metal used in the automotive and aviation industries.

The company is working with JobsOhio and Harrison County Community Improvement Corp. Cooperate to find the site and plan to break ground in the next 18 to 24 months.

Dell Arbor (Dale Arbaugh), president of Community improvement, said the plant would also create hundreds of jobs during the construction phase.
