SHANGHAI, Jul 30 (SMM) – Operating rates across licensed smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou averaged 64.45% in the week ended July 30, up 2.98 percentage points from the previous week, showed an SMM survey.
Anhui Dadao’s production increased after partly resuming operation from the maintenance, and Henan Jinli basically resumed production after the power curtailment, bringing the major increment to the production.
Besides the sample companies, Tongliao Taiding in Inner Mongolia and Xincheng Power in Henan suspended production for lack of raw materials this week.
Anhui Dadao is expected to fully resume production, and Huoqilin in Guizhou is expected to recover production next week. The overall operating rate is likely to rise further next week.
