Zheng Mianping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, introduced the general situation of lithium and potassium mineralization at home and abroad. He pointed out that the world is rich in potash mineralization resources, with a potash resource of 250 billion tons (potassium O), potash reserves are more than 3.7 billion tons (potassium O), is mainly marine solid potash). Large and super-large potash deposits are mostly formed in relatively stable evaporation basins in giant plates. Potash deposits in China are characterized by small land blocks and activity, with the complexity and particularity of potassium formation, that is, multi-stage salt formation, different ages, diversity of composition, many liquid ores, continental potassium formation and shortage of resources. According to the current mining situation, the identified reserves of potash in surface salt lake brine are 1.015 billion tons of (KCI),. It is expected that potash resources will be exhausted in 10-20 years, threatening the national food security. Zheng Mianping believes that the direction of searching for potassium in China is to increase the intensity of searching for potassium in marine facies and make a major breakthrough as soon as possible, and the deep and shallow layers of continental facies need to be expanded.

Lithium salt resources, the global identified lithium resources reserves of about 88.32 million tons, mainly concentrated in South America's lithium triangle (Chile, Argentina and Bolivia), salt lake brine type, followed by Australia, domestic spodumene. China ranks fifth in the world (7.42 million tons). Zheng Mianping said: lithium brine is a comprehensive and valuable resource with the greatest resource prospect, which is rich in potassium, boron, magnesium, bromine, iodine, strontium, rubidium, cesium and other resources, which is conducive to improving economic efficiency, efficient utilization of resources, and building green mines. Therefore, both domestic development and foreign investment should focus on the research and investment development of brine lithium resources.

Wang Xiaofeng, co-president of China's inorganic salt industry, introduced the present situation and prospect of the development and utilization of lithium, potassium, bromine and boron resources. He said that Xuanhan District in Sichuan Province is rich in lithium, potassium, bromoboron, sodium and other resources, and has basically formed a downstream product production line and supporting industries with related resources. The total environmental indicators, exploration norms and industrial projects of lithium and potassium resources projects have been supported by relevant policies one after another, and the country's first lithium-potassium comprehensive development demonstration park has been built, with an overall planning area of 20 square kilometers and a planned investment of 40 billion yuan.

Wang Xiaofeng put forward nine suggestions on how to do a good job in the comprehensive development of resources: the first is to strengthen resource exploration, the second is to do a good job in resource development, the third is to do a good job in product processing, the fourth is to achieve green development, and the fifth is to achieve economic sustainability. the sixth is to establish a regional investment fund, the seventh is to improve the industrial chain of the park, the eighth is to establish an industrial research center, and the ninth is the integrated development of local industries.

Feng Yonggang, deputy secretary of the Xuanhan county party committee and county magistrate, recommended the theme project of "Xuanhan has' lithium 'and rich' potassium 'world, and strives to build the country's first comprehensive development and demonstration park for lithium and potassium in deep brine."

Feng Yonggang said that Xuanhan lithium and potassium resources mainly have four major advantages: first, it is rich in resources. It has the first marine lithium-rich potassium resource deposit in the country. The thickness of the new polyhalite ore layer is about 30 meters, which is estimated to contain more than 1 billion tons of potassium sulfate. Second, the taste is higher. The highest lithium ion content in lithium-rich potassium brine is 427mg per liter, equivalent to 2590 mg per liter of lithium chloride, which is 8.6 times the industrial mining grade; potassium ion content is 30.12g per liter, equivalent to KCl content of 4.8%, which is much higher than the industrial mining grade of 0.5%. 1%. The average potassium ion content of the new polyhalite potash mine is 4.76%, which translates to a KCl content of 9.09%, which is 8% higher than the industrial mining grade. Third, it is easy to develop. The magnesium-lithium ratio of lithium-potassium-rich brine is only 4mur6, which is convenient for resource extraction, and the new type of polyhalite is associated with stone salt and is easy to be dissolved and mined by water solution method. Fourth, it is of great value. It is estimated that the value of lithium-rich potassium brine is more than 700 billion, the value of new polyhalite potassium sulfate is more than 2 trillion, plus other associated resources, the potential economic value is huge.

At the meeting, an on-site contract was also signed, and the Xuanhan County people's Government signed the Investment Cooperation Agreement for the National New Energy and New Materials Industry Base Construction Project with Liaoning Fangda Iron and Steel Group Industrial Co., Ltd., Qufu Minsheng Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and the Investment Agreement for the Construction Project of Minsheng New Materials Industrial Park.
