SMM News: a few days ago, the No. 1 boiler in the thermal power plant of Benxi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was ignited successfully after completing the ultra-low emission transformation, which was completed and put into production two days ahead of schedule.
Prior to this, the No. 2 boiler in the thermoelectric operation area of the plant had completed the transformation of ultra-low emission and was ignited successfully at 08:58 on October 10th and put into production. At this point, the atmospheric pollutant emissions of the boilers of the plant are fully in line with the national standards, marking the successful conclusion of the ultra-low emission transformation project of the plant in 2020.
The ultra-low emission transformation project is a key environmental protection transformation project of Benxi Iron and Steel Group and plate power plant this year, and it is an important measure for Benxi Iron and Steel Group to fulfill its social responsibility and adhere to the concept of ecological priority and green development. The main purpose of this project is to transform the dust removal and body of the existing 2 × 240t/h high temperature and high pressure pulverized coal fired boiler and other ancillary facilities in the thermoelectric operation area, with a planned construction period of 120 days. The aim is to achieve the emission standards of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, which are three important indicators of environmental protection, effectively improve the atmospheric environment and promote the green development of enterprises.
After this ultra-low emission transformation, the defects in the original design of the equipment have been eliminated, some of the problems restricting production in the original production operation have also been solved, and the labor intensity of workers has been reduced at the same time. For example, in the anti-corrosion operation of the desulfurization tower, the temperature drop has a great impact on the anti-corrosion of the desulfurization tower. in the process of transformation, combined with the anticorrosion experience of the No. 2 boiler, the plant proposes that the No. 1 boiler should be changed to anticorrosion from top to bottom, which not only speeds up the work progress, but also facilitates the installation of other equipment in the anti-corrosion tower, saves time in both directions, and provides a reliable time guarantee for the successful ignition of the ultra-low emission project ahead of schedule.
