Sichuan Xinlixiang Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in June 2018 with a registered capital of 800 million yuan. It is jointly invested by Sichuan Luqiao Construction Group Co., Ltd., Sichuan Luran Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Ke Neng Lithium Power Co., Ltd., with a contribution proportion of 65%, 20% and 15%, respectively. Mainly engaged in lithium battery material research and development, production, sales, high-tech research and development, consulting and service, waste battery and power battery collection, storage and disposal.

Based on the 50, 000-ton / year lithium battery cathode material project and the 100000-ton / year cathode material precursor project, a comprehensive layout of lithium battery cathode materials, cathode materials precursors, lithium battery anode materials and power battery recycling and other projects to build the whole lithium electric industry chain, the formation of "battery materials-product application-resource regeneration-battery materials" industrial chain closed loop.

Representatives of SMM and lithium downstream enterprises had in-depth exchanges on the development status of new lithium energy, production capacity and cost advantages of ternary materials.

Cathode material production capacity and products: at present, it has landed 10,000 tons of cathode material, a total of two factories. Part of the equipment in No. 1 workshop is being debugged, which is mainly used for small power and 3C customers. The products are mainly 523 and 5515 polycrystal products. No. 2 plant for power, has passed the verification, downstream customers have been fully booked, mainly producing 6 series single crystals.

Ternary precursors: a total of 100000 tons of ternary precursors are designed, and the first phase is 20, 000 tons. It is currently under construction and is expected to be put into production next year, but it has been slightly delayed due to civil construction problems. The project and the 50, 000-ton cathode material project will form an annual output value of more than 15 billion, profits and taxes of more than 1.5 billion yuan, and more than 2000 employees.

Cost advantages of ternary materials:

2. It is convenient to purchase lithium salt. There are many lithium salt factories nearby, such as Tianqi lithium industry, lithium carbonate procurement is convenient, freight is relatively cheap. It is currently considering investing with the lithium salt plant.

3. The group headquarters has invested in some mines, such as iron ore and copper, while there is an investment in nickel, but cobalt has not yet been involved and will be considered in the future.

Inspection unit license

SMM specially set up an inspection unit licensing link to add a sense of harmonious development and pleasant communication between the inspected enterprises and the inspected enterprises. Wang Tian, director of the new energy department of SMM, awarded the license for New Lixiang Energy on the spot.
