SMM8 4 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- the ngouran lead-zinc mine in Iran's Zangan province has launched a new underground mine, increasing its annual production capacity by 120000 tons and investing 1.25 trillion rials (US $5.3 million), as well as 1.2 billion EUR, to produce sulfur, lead and zinc mines.

Khodadad Gharibpour, vice minister of industry, said the annual production capacity of new mines could be increased by 50 per cent to 180000 tons a year.
