SMM News: in accordance with the "Tangshan City Air pollution Prevention and Control provisions" and "Tangshan Fengrun District heavy pollution Weather Emergency Plan" in the "Air Environmental quality Control" related requirements, according to the "Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and surrounding areas 2019-2020 air pollution comprehensive control action plan", in order to further strengthen the air quality assurance measures, formulate this plan.

I. the time limit for control is from 00: 00 on 1 December to 24:00 on 31 December 2019.

2. Principles of management and control (1) when emergency response to heavy pollution weather is initiated and stringent control measures are taken at the municipal level, the degree of emission reduction shall be strictly implemented. (2) the enterprises included in the first positive list of the province shall not be controlled.

III. Requirements for management and control (1) Emission reduction by industrial enterprises. Iron and steel enterprises. Tianzhu Iron and Steel Company, New Baotai Iron and Steel Company, sintering, pellet equipment, lime kiln, blast furnace specific shutdown equipment requirements in accordance with the newly revised "heavy pollution weather emergency emission reduction list industrial source list" iron and steel enterprises second stage emission reduction measures ".

2. Foundry enterprises. Performance evaluation grade A Yongfeng Roller Co., Ltd., performance Evaluation Grade B Yixing Roller Co., Ltd., Hongjie stainless Steel Co., Ltd., Huajun Special Steel Co., Ltd. (foundry) is not limited to production. Other enterprises with performance evaluation grade C produce from 0: 00 on December 1 to 24:00 on December 16, and stop production in the second half of the month.

3. Independent steel rolling (hot rolling), brick kiln enterprises. According to the Technical Guide on differential Control measures for some Industries in Tangshan City, enterprises that evaluate as "good" do not limit production. Other enterprises produce from 00: 00 on December 1 to 24:00 on December 16, and stop production in the second half of the month.

[Waste Lead-Acid Battery Collection Enterprise Updates] Recently, the Xinye Branch of the Nanyang Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau in Henan Province officially approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the waste lead-acid battery collection, storage, and transfer project of Nanyang Zhongjie Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (Wan Xin Huan Shen [2026] No. 8). The project will construct a comprehensive workshop integrating weighing, loading and unloading, and storage, with designated areas for intact batteries, dedicated storage rooms for damaged batteries, and temporary hazardous waste storage rooms, with a designed annual collection and transfer capacity of 5,000 mt of waste lead-acid batteries.
